Chinese have been carving calligraphies on cliffs and mountainsides for thousands of years. One might think that this tradition has been long gone. Well, to me, it has never gone away. The Chinese still love to carve or hang their calligraphies high up! Look at this building in Wanchai. (And there are many more in North Point and Nathan Road.)
